Signature Pieces.
Merchants of the Sun has rapidly ascended to become a leading force in sustainable jewelry. Founded just four years ago by Matthew Banks, the Australian brand challenged the status quo by combining contemporary design with eco-conscious practices.
In a fashion industry already grappling with sustainability, the jewelry sector lagged behind, offering either fleeting trends or inaccessible luxury. Banks identified a gap in the market for consciously crafted, affordable pieces. Driven by his passion for the outdoors and a vision for a zero-waste future, he established Merchants of the Sun to fill this void.
Now, the Australian sustainable jewelry brand has released its highly anticipated AW24 Drop III collection. This latest offering showcases a new design direction for the label, blending their signature minimalist aesthetic with intricate details.
Known for its commitment to sustainability, the collection features 36 unique pieces made from recycled 925 sterling silver and 18k gold vermeil. From delicate rings to statement pendants, each item is handcrafted in limited quantities, ensuring exclusivity and reducing environmental impact.
Highlights from the collection include the Clear Enamel Stallion Ring, the Psilocybe Cubensis Bracelet, and the All I See Is Stars Band. These pieces, alongside the collection’s premium white brass accessories, embody the brand’s philosophy of finding beauty in the ordinary while offering timeless yet exclusive designs.
