Raw Beauty.
Stone Island has unveiled their Autumn/Winter 2025 collection, drawing inspiration from the intersection of neon-lit, metropolitan cities and co-existence of past and present. The collection borrows cues from previous technological advances, bringing back the Ghost, Marina and Stellina sub-collections.
The collection explores the harmonies and contradictions found in Japanese heritage and innovation. Filtered throughout the collection are proprietary dyeing methods like indigo dyeing, as well as their experimental techniques like colour collision and reverse colour processes. There is a clear focus on expanding the labels corduroy selections, as well as t-shirts.
Key pieces in the collection include jackets like the Translucent Cover and Ice Jacket. The first being a two layered jacket, layering new and old traditions of functionality. A removable translucent nylon shell, lined with a cotton moleskin layer. The latter is a mainstay in Stone Island’s cold weather collections. This season, it features a thermo-sensitive fabric on the exterior, fastened to a garment dyed, built-in balaclava removable fingerless gloves.
