KidSuper and PUMA Team Up for “The Gaffers” FW25 Collection Blending Football and Art

Bringing Fashion to the Pitch.

PUMA and KidSuper continue their dynamic collaboration with the upcoming Fall/Winter 2025 collection, “The Gaffers,” set to drop on September 1st. This latest offering once again sees KidSuper founder Colm Dillane infuse his vibrant artistic vision into PUMA’s sportswear heritage, with a strong focus on football culture and the larger-than-life personalities that define it.

“The Gaffers” campaign frames football culture through a unique lens, celebrating the distinct archetypes of coaches who command the touchlines. Dillane himself appears in the ensemble cast, blending the worlds of sport and art that are central to the collaboration’s ethos. The campaign’s visuals tell a story of two contrasting coaching styles, one brash and intense, the other suave and composed, with the collection’s pieces serving as their symbolic uniforms. A glimpse of KidSuper FC’s new rooftop pitch in Brooklyn further emphasizes the collection’s roots in street football.

The collection features a range of apparel, including colour-blocked sportswear and reinterpretations of classic PUMA silhouettes. Key pieces include an updated PUMA T7 tracksuit, a windbreaker with sharp energy, and a long hooded down coat adorned with Dillane’s doodles and KidSuper FC branding, giving a sideline staple a fresh character. The collection also extends to womenswear, with leggings and long-sleeve shirts. Accessories like the Grip Bag, beanies, and caps carry the same distinctive design DNA.

Footwear plays a pivotal role, with PUMA and KidSuper reintroducing the low-profile PUMA Brasil from the 1970s, arriving in two gum-soled options with distressed, faded uppers that evoke the wear and tear of the pitch. Complementing this is the V-S1 sneaker, a modern silhouette inspired by early 2000s performance designs, which features asymmetrical lacing and a grassy texture on the upper, directly referencing the football field.
