The Pharrell Williams-designed Louis Vuitton x Timberland boot is causing a frenzy online, as collectors are chasing one of the rarest pieces of the from the designers collections. With only 50 pairs created, fashion enthusiasts are going to the ends of the earth to find the final available pair which was recently rumoured to be in Japan.
A rambunctious design from the Louis Vuitton Creative Director sees the classic 6-inch Timberland boot transformed into a luxury object, with rumours of the boots price now in the tens of thousands. The boot uses Italian leather with LV floral embossing in place of the usual stitching and dons 18K gold detailing on the Timberland tree logo for an added hit of shine. It still keeps the familiar gum outsole and each pair also comes with its own Louis Vuitton trunk.
More rare than they are practical, with its can’t get, can’t find mystique, Pharrell has pushed deeper into luxury territory and taken exclusivity to a whole new level with this collaboration.
