In a hyper-limited drop that’s personally selected by Travis Scott, who now serves as Chief Visionary of the brand, Oakley is bringing back one of its most iconic sunglasses, the X-Metal Juliet.

Forged from liquid-metal titanium alloy, the resurrected Juliet features a 25-piece frame designed to adapt comfortably to the skull. The iconic pair is decked out with flex couplers, temple shocks and interchangeable nosebombs, paired with Oakley’s signature Plutonite® material lenses, with Prizm™ Ruby Polarised optics that deliver state-of-the-art clarity.

Bridging the gap between heritage and innovation, the Japanese brand has fused its forward-thinking performance design with Travis Scott’s bold creative vision. A major moment for Oakley’s storied legacy, this reboot of the X-Metal Juliet is a rare collector’s item due to only a tiny number of pairs produced. Speaking on the collection, Brian Takumi, VP, Brand Soul & Creative, said, “X-Metal is one of the best manifestations of the Oakley philosophy and creeds. Especially the early versions. Juliet certainly lives up to those from design, R&D and manufacturing,”

The Cactus Jack x Oakley MUZM X-Metal Juliet will be revealed in two distinct editions (Prizm™ Violet Polarized & Prizm™ Snow Black) exclusively via selected friends and family gifting to celebrate the brand’s Tokyo takeover and Travis Scott’s recent appointment as Chief Visionary of Oakley. A collector’s item, due to the extremely limited number of pairs produced, each pair is individually serialised, and they come with a commemorative coin for added authenticity. For collectors and Oakley enthusiasts, this release presents a rare opportunity to own a piece of design history, reimagined for a new generation.

Priced at ¥232,980, which is around £1,133, the sunglasses were dropped exclusively via a lottery at the Oakley Store in Shibuya, Tokyo. See the images below:
