ASICS and MIYAKE DESIGN STUDIO have unveiled their first collaborative project, titled: “HYPER TAPING”, a footwear concept that brings together advanced performance research and refined, minimalist design. Rooted in shared values of craftsmanship, innovation, and trust, the partnership reflects both brands’ deep ties to Japanese product development and an uncompromising approach to quality.
Guided by ASICS’ founding philosophy, (A Sound Mind in a Sound Body), the two brands have closely studied the natural mechanics of the foot, designing footwear that supports daily movement while redefining functional aesthetics. “HYPER TAPING” explores how structure, comfort, and visual clarity can coexist, offering a forward-looking approach to how footwear performs, feels, and appears.
