M&S Taps Aries to Rework the St Michael Archive

By August 17, 2026FASHION NEWS

The cult London streetwear label looks to M&S' history for a 26-piece collection.

Marks & Spencer is teaming up with cult London streetwear label Aries for an unexpected new collaboration, digging into the archive of St Michael, M&S’ former in-house label, for a limited-edition 26-piece collection across womenswear and menswear.

A longtime M&S staple, St Michael has found a new audience through vintage finds, resale platforms and social media. For the collaboration, Aries went into the M&S archive, picking up old logos, crests and references, reworking them across the collection. The original St Michael angel motif appears alongside Aries’ signature Temple logo, with nods to the Penny Bazaar, heritage crests and sporting and collegiate graphics throughout.

The 26-piece line-up covers everything from pinstripe tailoring, striped shirts and ties to tracksuits, hoodies and graphic jumpers. Preppy knits, slip dresses and cardigans also make the cut, while some of the more nostalgic details come through the accessories. Spencer Bear has been turned into an oversized bag charm, and the familiar green M&S carrier bag gets an update in soft green leather. Brooches and hair clips round out the collection.

M&S x Aries launches on the 20th of August at M&S.com and selected stores
