Lacoste’s latest collection is a step ahead with futuristic adaptations of the brands core sport-wear beginnings. Creative manager Felipe Oliveira Baptista offered up a clean-cut silhouette with piped edges and a clear tennis inspiration.
Contrasts ruled the runway with a tennis court terracotta, navy blue and pine greens acting as a base of the colour palette juxtaposed with pastel blue’s, mint greens and crisp whites. The classic pique polo featured with piping details and block stripes along edges although the short-sleeved casual shirt also popped up along with a tailored ice blue and a forest green suit. Trousers were tailored although the sporty feel wasn’t lost with light fabrics yet contemporary with the linear patterning and minimalist cuts.
