One thing that we Love about Farah 2013 Fall/Winter “1920” collection is the way they have combined contemporary vintage and some amazing tailored looks to project ‘stylish and cool’. The thing about fashion and style is you never want an outfit to look forced, and that’s what Farah have kept in mind – creating looks that look effortlessly Sauvé. The brand has deep connecting roots to the roaring 20’s in Texas and have since began creating combat gear for the military. But for their new lookbook collection they have reinvented this idea in a new and modern form.
Pieces in the collection include khaki parkas, knitwear and denim – essentials for the rapidly approaching A/W season ahead. The military inspiration in the collection is spotted in the detailing. For instance the 3-button navy blazer or the navy striped jumper and not to forget the tailored chinos have made the collection capture some of the 1920’s in a more creative and exciting way.
