The Copenhagen brand brings things back to basics.
Streetwear brand Rascals’ bring us a lookbook shot by Lasse Dearman for their Fall/Winter season. For this collection the brand have taken things back to where the roots of the label first formed. Founded by two brothers, this season they have created a range of simplistic contemporary streetwear staples for which the inspiration was found in the underground grunge scene of the 1970s. Classic tees and sweats, half zip collared shirts, flannel zip jackets and statement patchwork-fleece outerwear comprise the collection, and slogans such as “Have You Seen” and “Still Missing” hark back to the days of missing children adverts on the sides of milk cartons in 70s America. Featuring lead singer of The Communions, Martin Rehof, the lookbook enables us to see a dark and moody colour palette of charcoal, black and brown accented by bursts of rich reds, muted gold and play blue.
