Welcome back to yet another Friday of fresh New Music drops. Exclusively at PAUSE, we have hand-selected some of the best new offerings that you need to have in your rotation. Happy weekend!

KDA ft. Tinashe, Karnage Kills and Ms Banks – Die A Little Bit

KDA enlists Tinashe, Ms Banks and Karnage Kills for the lead single ‘Die A Little Bit’ taken from his forthcoming EP. Setting the tone for what is to follow, the track is centred around his coming of age in London’s Soho and combines the sound of impressive artists within the industry.

JELANI BLACKMAN – BUBBLIN

With his new song ‘Bubblin’, Jelani Blackman keeps his busy summer going. Hot off the heels of his latest effort ‘Don’t Matter’, the London-bred artist has returned with yet another solid offering. Described as an energetic release of pent-up energy, the single was said to have been written and recorded within just one wavy night during the first lockdown.

JUSTIN BIEBER, SKRILLEX, AND DON TOLIVER – DON’T GO

Skrillex has enlisted frequent and long-time collaborator Justin Bieber alongside Don Toliver for a brand-new single ‘Don’t Go’. A music video featuring Bieber as engulfed in gold can also be seen with the track.

MORRISSON ft. KELLY KIARA – GUILTY

Leading East London rapper Morrisson has released his highly anticipated EP ‘Guilty’ alongside a brand-new single, titled after the EP, featuring Kelly Kiara. The 7-track body of work comprises collaborations with some of the UK’s most talented artists, including Mancunian mega-star Aitch, Loski and Jordan, as well as production from Harry James, Steel Banglez, Bkay and more.

SAM WISE ft. JESSE JAMES – CHEQUE CAME

House of Pharaoh’s Sam Wise has teamed up with Jesse James for the release of his second single and video ‘Cheque Came’, taken from his forthcoming mixtape. Dubbed as a jazz-hop tune, produced by Joffstar, the single seamlessly melds together the duo’s signature sound in order to create a soulful track that explores the highs and lows of financial freedom.

SWAE LEE ft. JHENE AIKO – IN THE DARK

Swae Lee has been waiting for this track to drop for 5 weeks, so it’s something to be excited about. Joining forces with Jhene Aiko, the duo has teamed up for a brand-new single titled “In the Dark” – taken from the forthcoming Marvel Film ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings’.

BERNA – DA PATTERN

‘Da Pattern’ is the new carnival-inspired single from 22-year-old rapper Berna. Marking the first in a succession of singles taken from his upcoming project, the east Londoner has been solidifying his position in British music for some time now, and this single is another example.
