Glenn Martens' Return to JPG.

Adding yet another feather to his ever bountiful hat, Glenn Martens was today announced as the next collaborator for Jean Paul Gaultier’s pending couture collection.

Best known for his work at Y/Project and more recently Diesel, Martens will succeed sacai’s Chitose Abe who did the ‘enfant terrible’ label’s AW21′ offering and will undoubtedly bring his suitably playful nature to the next of JPG’s collections. While Glenn’s workload might be among the heaviest in fashion at the moment, it’s not the most surprising of partnership seeing as he previously held a role as a junior designer at the French label before starting his own eponymous label in 2012, and later Y/Project the following year

Stay tuned for more info as it releases and expect to see the fruits of the duo’s labour in January 2022.
