Coming this week.
After the arrival of the similarly off the wall Nike Air Max 1 “Heavy” and “Mellow”, the third iteration of the Concepts x Nike Air Max 1 collection is set to arrive in a bandana-themed “Far Out” colourway.
Staying true to the design ethos of this collection, the Nike Air Max 1 “Far Out” looks to replicate the themes and vibe of the Woodstock Music and Art Fair first held in 1969, as well as the hippy movement of the late 1960s and 70s.
This pair is certainly one that is difficult to describe, with a multitude of materials, patterns, and colours being spread from the toe to the heel of the shoe. The shoe’s heel dons a light green bandana print, with this continuing into the central upper area as a rich purple print is also incorporated alongside a rough use of the classic Nike tick, one which blends into the traditional bandana pattern. A light wash denim covers the toe box along with a light brown and white pony hair overlay. Red laces and red sock lining provide a vibrant pop to the remainder of the shoe, with the signature Nike emblem coming in a light green stripe pattern on the outer side of the shoe as well as a flower-adorned version on the inside.
