Marni Bring Luxury to Workwear.
Kicking off 2023 in the way that we left 2022, it looks as though unlikely collaborations are continuing on into the new year as imagery surfaces for a new Marni x Carhartt WIP capsule.
Having previously teamed up with the likes of UNIQLO and H&M in previous years, Italian-born brand Marni are no stranger to producing budget-friendly alternative pieces for their fans, this time around delving into the workwear scene with industry heritage brand Carhartt WIP. In a range of product imagery, the extensive collection sees Marni utilise their bold flower patterns and signature red ‘MARNI’ lettering across the selection of pieces, mimicking similar design choices seen in their recent team-up with UNIQLO. Elevating a range of workwear standouts, the collection sees a host of shirts, workwear jackets, zip-up hoodies, flared pants, skirt pants, bucket hats, tote bags, and heightened platform slip-on sneakers debut in yellow and green floral block prints as well as shades of brown, beige and red. The standouts from the basic imagery include a classic Carhartt WIP work jacket adorned with an all-over black and yellow flower print and collaborative Carhartt x Marni co-branding, a pair of similarly-designed green and white flared trousers boasting black rear pockets and additional co-branding, as well as a black, brown and red knitted jumper adorned with an oversized Carhartt WIP x Marni design.
While no release date has been set for this collaboration as of yet, this extensive imagery suggests a drop is most definitely on the way. Stay tuned to PAUSE for more information.
