By October 4, 2024Fashion News

A Welcome Sight.

Simon Porte Jacquemus is a man of many talents, and one of those many is his ability to Jacquemus at the forefront of conversations. Doing so again here, Jacquemus have taken to social media to share a closer look at the brand’s new store installation in the French capital.

Traversing what seems like every inch of Europe over these past few years, Simon Porte Jacquemus continues to set up camp in new cities, with this latest installation seeing the French-born designer return to his homeland. After placing standout storefronts and cafes in the likes of Seoul, St. Tropez, Portofino and more, Jacquemus sees its new Paris-based store keep things both modern and simplistic, bringing forward their typically tongue-in-cheek along with them.

Welcoming guests into the storefront, the initial entrance window sees a scrolling website that shows a glitching Jacquemus landing page and its many leather bag entries, which eventually displays an all too familiar error message. A post-it note stuck to the corner of the screen displays “WEBSITE IS DOWN, COME INSIDE!”. When guests do venture into the building, they will be greeted with a creamy wall-to-wall chic that has become synonymous with the brand’s physical installations, championing an airy, minimalistic, and calming approach to design – much like Jacquemus’ heritage garments. New releases sees chunky “JACQUEMUS” scarves hang alongside meticulously assorted leather bags, jewellery and magazine tables, sculptural artwork, as well as curated rails of Jacquemus’ latest pieces.
