SS26 Hits Different.
The MM6 Maison Margiela and Salomon link-up has been one of the most quietly essential collabs running in the sneaker and fashion space for a minute now. Since the XT-6 first dropped and broke brains with its trail-runner-meets-conceptual-fashion energy, every subsequent release has pushed the hybridization thesis a little further. SS26 is no different, and if anything, it’s the most refined the partnership has ever looked.
The XT-MM6 returns in three new colorways that feel pulled from three different universes like an ’80s sport-coded pale lime yellow, a cool gray with muted yellow accents that reads almost archival, and a sleek all-dark. All three sit on Salomon’s iconic Speedcross sole, which means the traction is still very much there whether you’re hitting a trail or a gallery opening.
The real talking point this season, though, is the CROSS DUST, a new silhouette built on Salomon’s Cross trail-running lineage, elevated with a technical gaiter construction that pulls double duty in the best possible conceptual way. It references both the MM6 dust bag and Salomon’s performance gaiters simultaneously, two objects from entirely different worlds sharing the same protective logic collapsed into one form. Rounding out the drop is an updated XT-15 Backpack with refined ergonomics and a contrasting white rain cover with black logo.
The MM6 × Salomon Spring/Summer 2026 collection will be available from April 29, via MM6 and Salomon e-commerce platforms, the brands’ boutiques, and select multibrand retailers.
