Reese Cooper expands his outdoor-focused universe with a new Los Angeles basecamp.
Designer Reese Cooper has opened RC Outdoor Supply Los Angeles, a new 806 sq ft retail outpost dedicated to outdoor‑minded clothing and gear under the RCI umbrella. Designed in collaboration with PlayLab Inc, the store sits at 3300 W Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles, and will operate daily from 11am to 7pm.
The space marks a new chapter in Cooper’s decade‑long exploration of Americana. While his REESE COOPER® label has long blended outdoor references with luxury craftsmanship, RC Outdoor Supply represents a more direct expression of that world, creating clothing and equipment built for real use, without losing the design language that has defined his runway collections.
Cooper began developing the line quietly in late 2021, experimenting with products that could move seamlessly between trail and city. By late 2024, RC Outdoor Supply officially launched with a partner, offering pieces rooted in functionality first but filtered through Cooper’s fashion sensibility. After four capsule drops, Cooper has now taken full control of development and production to ensure the same level of detail and durability that has shaped his mainline brand.
The collection includes taped‑seam shells, insulated outerwear, technical fabrics and Cooper’s trademarked Hook, all designed as tools rather than trophies.
“The clothes are meant to get dirty,” Cooper says, emphasising the brand’s commitment to gear that holds up in all environments.
RC Outdoor Supply Los Angeles now serves as the physical basecamp for the line, offering customers a place to explore the full range of RCOS and RCI footwear in person. The opening signals Cooper’s continued push into functional design, expanding his universe beyond the runway and deeper into the culture of outdoor exploration.
