Burton Snowboards introduces their Spring/Summer collection for 2013, fittingly for the extended British winter we are having this Spring, but their new threads are taking inspiration from the ice cold ski slopes, with functional but stylish jackets. American Spring break is also a big influence; they are ‘throwing caution to the wind’ with their new parkas that would look at home on the street or at Lake Tahoe. More daring styles come from their bird-of-prey patterned lightweight jackets which have the potential to complement a great Spring outfit. The more plain Swift jackets in the collection will please the less audacious dresser; the black is minimalist and looks great.
Two tone woven shirts have a slightly retro vibe and add a touch of texture to the mix. The turquoise and blue is simple but bold. The Jericho top adds and American high-school twist, which has an interesting grainy effect and prominent stitching that add subtlety to the loud ‘77’ print .

MQT Spring/Summer line-up is all about smartness and simplicity. Their new pastel chinos are timeless and functional, and can be included in outfits ranging from casual to formal. The touch of colour the chinos provide is both daring and understated. Nevertheless, they hold on to an essential ageless quality, perhaps even slightly conservative, creating a casual and laid-back vibe. The yellow and blood-red look particularly striking.
It should be known MQT make very high quality threads, and the selection of low-rise and relaxed tailoring are hitting that reliable vintage aesthetic. Also check out the top quality denim and shorts on offer, which, in keeping in style with the chinos, look effortlessly smart.
The straightforwardness is what is so effective here; you can be confident that these trousers will look great in almost all situations and stand the test of time. Every man needs at least a couple of pairs of chinos, and MQT is proving to be a great candidate for at least one this springtime (if we ever get one).
