Re-launching its clothing line, Axel Arigato returns with a new Autumn/Winter 2019 collection made up of ready-to-wear pieces.
Dubbed HYPERSPEED, the range which sees athletic-wear pieces informed with a practical functionality draws inspiration from the ’90s and early ’00s. Packed with layering options and statement outwear pieces, the collection which consists of 10 menswear and 10 womenswear looks features t-shirts, sweaters, joggers, nylon track pants, and parka coats, crafted from intricate fabrics and sporting bold colourways. With updated footwear options, the latest offering from the brand also features two new sneaker silhouettes, the ‘Catfish’ and the ‘Marathon Runner’ that draw inspiration from skaters and athletes in the early ’90s.
Speaking on the collection, Axel Arigato Co-Founder and Creative Director, Max Svardh said “You could say that we’ve pressed the reset button on ready-to-wear. With a new direction, we’re offering a cleaner message of minimalist, superlight technical pieces that feel authentic to the brand – it should be seen as an extension of our footwear collection.”
