“In many ways, it's a true expression of KARA - being many things, not fitting into a specific mould” - Sarah Law
Beauty is uncovered layer by layer in the reflection of the inclusive, New York-based label KAYA. The founder and creative director, Sarah Law, invited Italian designer, Andrea Grossi, to work on an innovative, upcycled collection constructed from deadstock garments through various multi-layered fabric techniques – an ancient Japanese technique called ‘Sashiko’ was even employed for some pieces.
Brought to life through the ever-unique creative lens of Grossi, the collection encapsulates the values which KARA stand for whilst offering twists and turns throughout to create a capsule that conforms to no specific mould and truly stands in its own lane.
Consisting of 3 handbags and 6 wearable accessories – including brand staples such as the Midi Crystal Fringe Tote, Cobra Pouch and Crystal Cobra Camera bag alongside asymmetric tees, a jacket, a set of chaps, and a hat – the KARA Styled by Andrea Grossi collection is available from November 29th at KARAstore.com, along with a dedicated pop up in NYC over the first 2 weeks of December, as well as in Selfridges, London.
