Ronnie Fieg and Kith have deepened their relationship with BMW, unveiling a limited 1981 BMW M1 E26 in a deep, midnight purple colourway. The M1 marks the third instalment in their partnership, previously working on an M4 G82 and M3 E30.
Derived from BMW’s first performance division, the M1 was considered the brand’s most raw, energetic sports car. Kith underwent a year-long process, sourcing archived BMW parts in order to make the car as original as possible.
The car’s exterior features the coveted Techno Violet paint, which is one of BMW’s rarest finishes. Kith’s signature monogram pattern is seen on the leather interior, composed of black Merino leather. Under the hood is the M1’s original engine, delivering 277 horsepower powered by a 3.5L engine.
