Back To Class.
Dsquared2 has unveiled its Resort collection, and we’ve already scooped some must-haves for the season.
This collection takes inspiration from classic school-day vibes, especially the troublemaker kid. It also digs into the brand’s vintage icons from the 50s to the 70s. The new pieces show off the brand’s signature layering and attention to detail, mixing updated college classics with a cool, rebellious edge. On the womenswear side, you’ll find a fresh, colorful take on luxury femininity.
Menswear features sophisticated knitwear with lush volume, a bomber jacket combining denim monogram with knit sleeves, and linen pieces reimagined with structural and three-dimensional stitching. For women, colorful lace is a key element, adding a delicate pop to workwear-inspired denim or layered under tailored jackets. Both lines embrace graphics and text evoking unearthed vintage pieces, including the playful “monkey business” tropical print. Adding to the collection’s spirit are two thrilling collaborations: one with photographer Tom Bianchi, whose iconic 70s and 80s Fire Island polaroids are brought to life on prints, and another with Smiley, deepening the exploration of 70s subculture.
