The second chapter opens with reproduced archive pieces and in-store installation.
Giorgio Armani has unveiled the second chapter of its ARMANI/Archivio project, timed with Milan Design Week. The latest instalment opens at the brand’s boutique on Via Sant’Andrea in Milan.
Originally launched in 2025 to mark the label’s 50th anniversary, ARMANI/Archivio serves as an interactive platform dedicated to preserving and presenting the house’s historic collections. This new chapter sees thirteen men’s and womenswear looks from 1979 to 1994 reproduced and made available for purchase for the first time. Selected for their continued relevance, the pieces centre on the evolution of the Armani jacket, linking past design codes with present-day wear.
An installation by Milan-based studio NM3 accompanies the launch, hosting a series of invitation-only talks focused on collecting, archiving and fashion heritage.
The campaign, shot and styled by Eli Russell Linnetz, references the brand’s early imagery, presenting the garments through a contemporary lens while retaining their original character. The collection will be available online and in selected boutiques. Further details on each look will be accessible via the Archivio platform.
