What to Expect From Frieze London This October

Frieze London and Frieze Masters return to The Regent’s Park, bringing almost 300 galleries to London

Frieze is returning to London this October, with Frieze London and Frieze Masters taking over The Regent’s Park from 14-18 October. Almost 300 galleries from 48 countries and regions will participate across the two fairs, alongside a wider programme of exhibitions and events happening across the city throughout Frieze Week.

At Frieze London, 171 galleries will take part. Returning names include Gagosian, Hauser & Wirth, Lisson, Pace Gallery, Victoria Miro, White Cube and David Zwirner, joined by a line-up of London galleries and first-time exhibitors.

New for 2026 is The Code Universe, a curated section by Carol Yinghua Lu looking at mass culture and social change through everything from everyday objects and consumer goods to mass media. Artist-to-Artist also returns for its fourth edition, with seven artists selected by established names including Yinka Shonibare, Jeffrey Gibson and Louise Giovanelli.

Over at Frieze Masters, nearly 140 galleries will span everything from ancient art and Old Masters to modern British and post-war work. This year’s programme includes the return of Spotlight and Reflections, as well as the new Queering Modernism: Visual Languages of the 20th Century, which looks at queer experience and LGBTQIA+ representation across 20th-century art.

Frieze Week will branch out well beyond The Regent’s Park, with exhibitions across London including:

  • The 90s: Art and Fashion at Tate Britain
  • Frida: The Making of an Icon at Tate Modern
  • The Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum
  • Es Devlin at the Design Museum
  • Renoir and Love at the National Gallery

Frieze Sculpture will also return to The Regent’s Park’s English Gardens from 16 September – 1 November.
