PAUSE Picks: Maison Martin Margiela for H&M

By November 14, 2012Fashion News, Style Picks

We recently featured lookbook images from high street retailer H&Ms latest designer collaboration with avant garde fashion house Maison Martin Margiela.

Now, PAUSE takes another look at the menswear line and selects some of our favourite pieces that you should be wrestling other shoppers for when the collection goes on sale in stores and online at 9am tomorrow.

One of the most striking items in the collection, this beaver coat is made from faux fur and is sure to keep you warm through the colder months.

Looking more to the casual styles, the reversed denim jacket gives a fresh feel to a classic staple item.

Keeping with the inside-out theme, this reversed suede & faux fur coat certainly makes a statement.

You can never go wrong with a good pair of smart trousers, and these wool pants are constructed to appear as a fusion of two different coloured pairs; again breathing new life into a staple item.

For those on more of a budget, this satin top is available in two colours and will give an edge to your wardrobe at an affordable price.

Looking to footwear, these hand painted leather boots certainly stand out, the cracked paint effect epitomises the Margiela aesthetic.

PAUSE favourite has to be the white leather padded shirt jacket. A reissue from the Margiela AW10 collection, the jacket will provide contrast to your outfit and is well worth its £180 price tag.

Take a look at the full selection at the official website, and be sure to decide what you want to buy in advance as this is sure to sell out quickly.
