On the 7th February PAUSE had the pleasure of attending the launch of Peter Werth’s new concept store.
Located in Covent Garden’s stylish Seven Dials shopping district, the store provides a fitting backdrop to the collections of Peter Werth Head of Design, Phil Jones. Hand picked, bespoke furnishings punctuate the interior whilst wood, steel, glass and stone provide a chic, multi-textural canopy reminiscent of the world inhabited by Colin Firth in Tom Ford’s A Single Man.
Founded 37 years ago, Peter Werth has become synonymous with sharp British design and high quality clothing. These latest collections only serve to reinforce the strength of their position on the British menswear landscape. 2013 kicked off with a celebrated showcase of the Nutters of Savile Row x Peter Werth collaboration at London Collections: Men and the brand’s forthcoming offerings reflect an authentic dialogue between brilliant sartorial elegance and contemporary experimentation.
PAUSE picks of the SS13 collection have to be the geometric printed garments and the Collins plum and stone checked bomber.
