Way back in July of last year we saw the release of popular New York street-wear brand collaborate with Japanese label Comme des Garcons which started off with the baby blue long-sleeved shirt and hat range that sold out in minutes online and at the L.A, London, New York and Japan Supreme stores. It then lead footwear brand Vans in early July to release the SK8-Hi and classic plimsolls with Comme des Garcons coming in a similar baby blue/thematic blue striped design which became a hit for Vans (as seen below).
Now a year later Vans have released their latest SS/13 collaboration with the help of Supreme this month who have given a nice vintage floral print design to the Vans SK8-Hi, Chukka Boots and the classic Era plimsolls.
We here at PAUSE would love to know what collaboration you find better? and which brand would you love to see Vans collaborate with next? Drop us a comment below or give us a tweet @Pause_Mag!
The new Vans x Supreme collection is available online now and at the L.A, London, New York and Japan Supreme stores.

Here are three reasons to start wearing green:
1) It’s on trend
2) It’s Spring
3) St. Patrick’s Day is coming up!
So what if it’s (still) cold? You can’t wear black forever.
Jacket:
This Harrington style jacket is versatile. It can be worn as part of a more formal ensemble, with smart shoes, trousers and a shirt. However, it can also be dressed down and worn casually. Slipping a hoodie underneath it and pairing it with a good pair of trainers gives it more of a street vibe. This type of jacket is also perfect for this weather. Zip it up and it will keep the wind out. Zip it down and it will keep you cool.
Top:
Colour blocking was big last year, and this block colour vest carries on this trend. It’s a basic staple piece that can be worn with almost anything. However, as it’s still cold, maybe it’s best to save the vest for later and opt for the long-sleeved polo instead. Polo tops are a classic, and every man should have at least one. Polo tops are the middle ground between smart and casual.
Footwear:
Nike Blazers have been seen everywhere for the last two years. If you want a suede trainer, but not follow the crowd, buy these Nike Toki Vintage. Not quite a high top, not quite low, these chukka boot style trainers will keep your ankles warm as it attempts to snow. Again.
Bag:
We’ve had statement blazers, shirts and shoes. But now it’s time for a statement bag. Attention seekers rejoice, for this satchel* is so bright it can be seen from the International Space Station. Fact**. Yes, it’s bright, yes it’s a bit risky, and no, your mother probably won’t like it, and your Dad may give you a disapproving look. However, ask yourself: Did they pay for it? If the answer is yes, take the bag back immediately, as you have no freedom of speech. If they didn’t then it doesn’t matter what they think. Tell them they’re old, and they don’t know about fashion***.
So there you have it, the key green items for this season. Oh and please, don’t wear all this stuff together. Not unless you want to be confused with Kermit the Frog.
