Still featuring the original colourway as when it first hit the stores just over two decades ago, the Nike Air Max 180 is back with a few alterations. These throwbacks can be traced back to the late 80’s when Nike’s Research and Development team in Oregon set out to better their already pioneering Air Technology. From this, the Air 180 was born with an era of ‘Air-volution’ to follow.
This classic has already enjoyed a number of reissues and though a few years have passed its back for 2013 as part of Nike’s Air Max Vintage Collection. Featuring a combination of suede, textile and a metallic mesh upper, comfort is the least of your worries. The shoe also boasts the original visible Air Max 180 degrees unit at the heel giving maximum impact protection.
Along with the new and improved ‘Max Air’ cushioning system, Nike has also added additional support for a ‘superior comfort’. The retro kicks have also received the ‘vintage’ treatment with a stained detail featured on the midsole and heel.
The Nike Air MAx 180 OG Vintage will be available in stores and online at Size? in sizes 5 – 12 (UK) at £97

Army print has been over done this winter, so for Spring/Summer it is time for us to welcome a new print into our wardrobes. Taking it’s inspiration from urban jungles and the depths of Africa, safari print is slowly making it’s way from the catwalk and into our high streets. Using a similar colour palette to the army trend, khaki, brown and beige remain popular this Summer as safari makes it’s mark.
The great thing about the Safari trend is it can be as subtle or as outgoing as you like. This safari print shirt from Topman is a great example of how you can take on the safari trend without going too overboard.
Safari isn’t just about clothing getting the right accessories is key. Nixon have a great selection of safari inspired items from headphones to The Time Teller Acetate in Tortoise. The subtle animal print fits perfectly into the safari trend and the smooth finish offers a classic edge.
I Love Ugly have a striking 5-panel cap that will keep the sun out of your eyes this Summer with an all over safari print that is sure to stand out.
When those summer months are finally here a pair of safari sunglasses are essential. Urban Outfitters has a great selection of animal print sunglasses. At PAUSE we love these giraffe print sunglasses with their retro edge.
Whether you are going travelling this summer or have your months filled with festivals let the safari trend bring out the explorer in you.
