After much anticipation, East London-based label Agi & Sam’s much awaited collaboration with Topman
has finally arrived, and we must say, it has been more than worth the wait. Providing their own forward thinking and surreal take on the 2012 Olympics, they have gone on to create their own contemporary spin on the garments of beautiful game. It’s not everyday you hear of a football and fashion fusion, but the two seem to sit marvellously well together in this collection.
An entire kit has been designed by the duo for fictional club ‘The Owls’ and fittingly feature feather, egg-shell and nesting inspired prints. With their suits, jerseys and shirts also getting the athletic treatment, one can’t help but think of the iconic style of the original pretty boy of football, George Best.
