All Saints got the chance to showcase their east London inspired autumn/winter 14 collection at this past NYFW. Accompanied by a short visual entitled ‘Rip It Up; which essentially teased the raw, edgy London inspired looks all saints are now well-known for.
Primary inspiration was taken from the walls of east London where posters are frequently put up and ripped off just as fast to create layers, textures and patterns that brought to life this collection. The 14 looks for men reflect this idea with dark shades of colour that compliment one another in the layered looks they’re styled in. Jumpers are worn loosely around the body with extra length on the sleeves whilst some jackets are slightly cropped. Clashes of textures are formed when mohair is put up against calf leather, nappa and cashmere. Black rules all yet again whilst there’s a fitted trousers galore going on in the bottoms departments. Overall, the collection gives us a moody, downtown vibe with stylish uptown touches.
