The Costume National Spring/Summer 2015 brought back the good old rock ‘n’ roll days of the 70s while reliving style icons such as Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon.
The collection was all about creative freedom and liberated elegance with slim cut shirts and pants that were either flared or with a skinny fit. Striped suits, viscose knitwear, gauze shirts were taking style pointers from the 70s era of being free-spirited with a carefree attitude. There were some essences of western influence shown with neckerchiefs, biker jackets and ankle boots hitting the catwalk with an added rocker feel to it.
It isn’t just about the hard rocker attitude but it is more refined elegance with bold shades of blue, orange and purple in textures of leather and suede.
