These are the words of the UK based brand ‘Other UK’ when, at the end of May, they announced their new Spring/Summer 2014 collection, UnionBlack.
OTHER UK presents their new spring/summer 2014 collection, UnionBlack. UnionBlack offers a range of clothes tailored to this season, while keeping the same unique aesthetic that we’re used to seeing from Other UK.
The collection features lightweight cottons and breathable mesh to allow you to stay cool and comfortable in the summer heat. Other’s founder, Nicky Other has said “We’ve spent the last few months developing UnionBlack, taking our staple layered looks & creating something that you can rock all summer long.”The collection also consists of elongated vests, scoop neck tees, light weight essentials, raw-edge shorts, a hoodie, mesh tees, vests & baseball jerseys all finished with chrome hardware & leather embossed labels.
Our favourite piece in the collection is undecided, but it’s between the marbled vest, elongated mesh t-shirt or ‘Other Uk 85’ print shirt. Although the mesh t-shirt is such a simple piece yet one that stands out so easily in a crowd thanks to the fabrics innate ability to look as if it had an intricate pattern on it. The fabric it gives that breathable nature, proving invaluable in the coming days of extreme heat.
