Andrea Crews SS15 Collection

A tracksuit isn’t really a suit to begin with but London’s Saville Row tailor Ozwald Boateng came together with sportswear giant Nike to change all that.  They have come up with a tracksuit that literally resembles that of a suit. The N98 Nike Track Suit have been remixed and given a sartorial twist, combining athleticism and classic tailoring that has brought elegance to something very sporty.

This hybrid design has made Boateng bring the world of football and tailoring like no other. This limited edition tracksuit was made especially for the Brazilian team for the FIFA world cup and unless you are a Brazilian football superstar, you won’t be getting your hands on one anytime soon.

Made from lightweight wool, the tracksuit features and elastic waist and a tracksuit sleeve with ribbed cuffs. It also features laser-cut perforations in the same places as the Brazil team’s jersey as well as Nike’s technology of sonically welded and sealed seam pockets to go along with it.

This is definitely a juxtaposition of sport-meets-style making the Brazil players not only look good on but also off the pitch.

Art and fashion with an urban street edge caught the yes of many during the Andrea Crews Spring/Summer 2015 collection at Paris Fashion Week with psychedelic and tropical infused prints.

It was a visually kaleidoscopic but with hip-hop influences that made the collection an explosive one filled with bright colours and a punk attitude.  What inspired the collection were famous painters such as Van Gogh and Matisse for it’s loud prints. There were some unisex components with silhouettes that were relaxed and sporty while keeping it modern. A sense of athleticism can be found while mixing Parisian imagery and prints giving a visual feast on the runway.

For those who aren’t afraid to be seen and are daring enough to show their personality with striking prints, the Andrea Crews collection is sure to bring out the swag in you.
