Ashish presents his womenswear and menswear spring 2015 collection.
Although London Fashion Week, this year, as usual, was awash with womenswear, there were still small glimpses of menswear.
Ashish is one designer that featured both male and female models in his Ready-to-wear show this year. He presented a collection that took a sporty, urban aesthetic and embellished it with sequins and rainbow patterns to create an effect that is laid back, slouchy and incredibly sparkly.
With a great eye for pop culture, Ashish’s pieces are perfectly contemporary and relevant for fashion right now. An oversized, sequined snake-skin print, brightly coloured tops and shorts, and graphic imagery all add up to create a fun, pop-art aesthetic. This collection is interesting, youthful and a definite stand-out.
