It has been announced by revered designer and style icon Hiroshi Fujiwara of a new upcoming Nike Sock Dart Collaboration with Fragment Design. Never has it ever been more trendy to embrace the sock like shoe.

Discussing the design process, Fujiwara notes, “The first time I saw the Sock Dart—it wasn’t even a shoe. Tinker showed me a knit, like a sock, and explained they were going to put an outsole on it.”

After first being released in 2004, the sock dart was the first sneaker to be designed by computer knitting technology. This release features details similar to previous editions, yet continues to use a translucent silicone strap and a woven upper. Despite the fact that the preview has been shown with a Pool Aoyama olive colourway, this particular colourway will in-fact not be included in the upcoming release. The collaborative effort will consist of four different colourways which are set to be released in December.
