When it comes to travel accessories and footwear, Want Les Essentials master all quality fabrics. At Pitti Uomo, co-founders and designers, Byron and Dexter Peart unveiled a new collection of travel and foot gear—magnetizing the exclusive brand. Footwear composes of constructed metallic leathers, exotic skins, and textured finishes with profound earth-toned colourways of brown and pine, flowing to oxblood and navy. Bags and other goods continue the earthy hues with touches of leather and fine fibers. A notable standout, is the navy book bag stitched with the label on the front and an all-over kaleidoscopic pattern. Dressing into the system.
Blood Brother uses influences taken from rock formations and computer viruses to develop a Spring/Summer collection designed using technical and luxurious materials. Inspiration for Spring/Summer 2015 comes from the general term ‘Virus’. Designs have been augmented with prints inspired by 90s computer viruses and rock formations.
Following on from Autumn/Winter 2014, Blood Brother continues to expand the collection for Spring/Summer 2015, developing signature leather pieces by using detailing techniques including; embossing and laser cutting. Using the embossing technique, price an extra layer of finish has been added to T-shirts and jersey.
With an existing reputation for graphics and the virus theme for Spring/Summer 2015, prints and finishes have been developed that flow through the collection, as well as, making a bold summer statement. The laser cut ‘pixel’ print bomber jacket and cracked white leather biker jacket are true collection highlights with real edge but remaining wearable. Some pieces including staple sweaters and joggers, are created using a new jersey blend
that offers rich texture and finish similar to wool, but is made from cotton to avoid overheating during the summer months.
