5 Designers To Watch Out For During LFWM.
London Fashion Week Men’s (previously known as London Collections: Men) kicks off this Friday on the 6th of January iand here at PAUSE we are excited to see the collections, trends & key looks for AW17. Below we’ve highlighted some of our personal favourites and ones-to-watch out for this season.
COTTWEILER
Cottweiler, one of the most underrated labels in London. As a conceptual brand that reacts to the social environment around them, Cottweiler is ever changing. With strong visual presentations, clean minimal looks and attention to detail, the brand offers luxury in the finest fabrics. supported by the likes of Skepta, FKA Twigs & Yung Lean, we look forward to seeing the next seasonal collection.
A-COLD-WALL*
Showing for the first time at London Fashion Week Men’s, A-COLD-WALL* is the curated product of British street culture. They are a representation of clashing worlds separated by class and environment materialised as a social commentary. As they have never shown at London before, we at PAUSE look forward to A-COLD-WALL* new showcase.
CHRISTOPHER SHANNON
As a graduate from Central Saint Martins, Christopher Shannon is an inspiration to young designers studying in London who want to follow in his footsteps, he is definitely one to watch! With this seasons quirky ‘Lovers Direct’ and ‘Haters Direct’ sweaters we are intrigued to see what’s next.
KTZ
Known for their exciting raw energy and contemporary edge but also for embracing ethnographic references and multiculturalism. In June, we saw KTZ focus on dark futurism, interstellar science fiction and fierce tatted models. Every show KTZ put on is different, very different. We will have to wait and see what is to come at the end of this week.
WHAT WE WEAR
Another new brand on the schedule and we at PAUSE look forward to seeing what WWW will bring to the table this weekend. On New Years Eve, Tinie Tempah posted a series of tweets that makes it seem that he is involved with this new brand. We know for sure they are going to bang and cause a scene this weekend.
