Balenciaga for everyone.

Balenciaga for everyone is our new motto, especially after having been introduced with the brand’s last Spring/Summer 2018 on the very first day of Paris Fashion Week. In the Boulogne park – large green space located near the 16th district in West Paris, Demna Gvasalia offered a collection mainly centered around the old and the new designs, the current and the upcoming generations – hence the toddlers and young boys’ presence in the show. Balenciaga’s Spring/Summer 2018 is an ode to dads, who will come and pick their kids from school – or take them to a Sunday stroll – wearing logo-print tote tote bags, oversized colour block sweaters, and dragon-print over shirts.
Already offering us Lurex vibes in the previous collection, Gvasalia continues to give Balenciaga the shiny look he thinks the brand deserves: note the transparent outerwear that made quite the difference during the fashion show, cropped jackets and panelled trousers associated with leather shorts.
