The collection represents “How we construct narratives and ultimately what we think about the world around us”
For Autumn/Winter ’18, 3. Paradis offers a juxtaposition of peace and anarchy, weaved with hints of Parisian style. The recently-released editorial showcasing the upcoming season, titled *EXERCISES IN STYLE*, is a “playful exploration of the possibilities” and features year-defining berets, tweeds, leathers and pinstripes. Styled by Instagram’s ‘Bloody Osiris’ and modelled by Russian DJ ‘Cyber 69’, the edit is curious with contrasting symbolism and styles.
At the forefront of the editorial comes clean-cut jeans tattooed with birds and stars, Prince of Wales checks layered with fiery red stripes and slogan hoodies featuring peace-sign graffiti, all capturing the conformist/non-conformist tension that’s key to the AW18 collection. The film-effect images capture the duo piecing together the collection to create energised looks, marrying a patched beret with a killer leather trench-coat, a relaxed white hoodie with an oversized patch-worked pinstripe blazer.
The video for 3. PARADIS AW18 *EXERCISES IN STYLE* , fashioned with retro videotape visuals, accompanies the editorial and presents the collection through Bloody Osiris visions of style.
