A Tale of Four Women.
Captured by photographer Albert Watson, the 2019 Pirelli calendar focuses on a fictional story of 4 women and features model Gigi Hadid, designer Alexander Wang, as well as Misty Copeland, Laetitia Casta, Julia Garner and Astrid Eika.
Shot over a span of 10 days in Miami and New York, Gigi Hadid plays a woman who seemingly has achieved success and wealth, but for all she has achieved, she is filled with sadness, and Alexander Wang plays the role of her confidant whom she shares a swanky New York apartment with. Misty is a dancer, while Sergi plays both a dancer and a painter, and Astrid Eika plays a photographer and model.
