This season, the iconic Italian fashion house that is Gucci has turned their attention to embedding the brand’s signature Italian and international cultural heritage into the range of eye-catching goods.
As for how they then shot the collection, the renowned photographer that is Harmony Korine took to both the archaeological parks of Herculaneum and Pompeii to shoot the Pre-Fall 2019 collection in a manner that meant the culturally-rich sites have been aesthetically fused with the contemporary and unexpected gaze of the American artist. Consequently, Gucci has created a lookbook that both preserves and promotes these two ancient Roman cities to the attention of new generations.
