Raf Keeps Pushing for 2019.
With a seemingly endless release of projects, collaborations and collections in 2019 alone, it’s safe to say that Raf Simons’ departure from Calvin Klein has done little in terms of hurting his career. Perpetuating his continued relevance in the industry, DSM Ginza has cemented this further with the opening of their new space dedicated to the fashion mastermind.
While the Belgian designer’s relationship with Dover Street Market outposts has always been notoriously strong, the Ginza location has been particularly so – previously dedicating a space to him on their fourth floor. Building on this same space, Raf worked with architect Glenn Sestig to replicate the feel of his London & LA counterparts which take inspiration from brutalist architecture and historical sculptures.
Check out the sole image of the space here or pop down to check it out for yourself at Ginza Chuo-Ku, Ginza Komatsu West 6-9-5, Tokyo 104-0061, Japan.
