Introducing three new styles.
Following on from Craig Green‘s military-indebted Spring/Summer 2021 collection is the latest sneaker collection from the designer’s ongoing collaboration with adidas Originals. Reimagining classic’s – the Superstar and the Rivalry – the latest footwear offering also introduces a new silhouette, the Kontuur III.
Inspired by the adidas Mundial Team football shoe, the Kontuur arrives in “Core Black” or the green-toned “Legend Earth” colourways. With a signature quilted design and accented by suede elements on the toe and heel – details include a co-branded elongated tongue and tinted metallic tones.
Elsewhere, Craig Green and adidas Originals present the Rivalry Polta AKH. Using Green’s “Ghost Layer” tooling to it, translucent overlayer teases the adidas lining underneath, while moulded TPU elements add three-dimensional effects through iconic three stripe branding.
Rounding out the collection are two new takes on the Superstar. Appearing in “Off White/Bright Red/Grey Three” and “Utility Black/Core Black/Green,” the Superstars arrive with an all-over contrast topstitched design reminiscent of the quilting and stitching found throughout his collections. A rubber cup sole with foxing tape, plus branding on the lateral and tongue, complete the style.
The full collection is set to drop on November 7 on HBX and adidas’ website and select stockists, including Dover Street Market.
