Chapter I of SS21' Drops.
Launching the first chapter of their spring/summer 2021 offering, Japanese label Y-3 recently unveiled the drop’s accompanying campaign which “examines the onslaught of natural elements in the urban habitat.”
Delivering an expected slew of elevated all-weather apparel, the drop arrives in predominantly darker hues while offering up equal parts function and form to face “the shadowy darkness of urban rainfall.” Spanning the likes of parka jackets, hoodies and knitwear pieces, the label takes its tried and tested approach of fusing standout aesthetics with weather-resistant materials and fabric constructions such as GORE-TEX, sealed seams, and hooded silhouettes.
