Having surprised everyone with the release of its own Simpson’s episode as part of its Spring/Summer 2022 collection, Balenciaga has released a capsule collection to go with the episode.
Featured on a range of garments and accessories, the famous family are illustrated rocking items from Balenciaga’s previous collections. All wearing black outfits, Homer was wearing the same spiked jacket from the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2020 that Ye rocked for one of his DONDA listening parties while Marge is wearing a knee-length coat complete with fur trim. Stood in front of their parents, Bart, Lisa and Maggie are also decked out in all black, with their pet dog and cat sporting a black spiked lead and collar.
The graphic, which includes “The Simpsons” written in the background with a spray paint effect in reference to one of Bart’s favourite hobbies, is included across the entire collection. This includes a range of t-shirts, hoodies and a jacket along with accessories including a cap, wallet and keychain.
