“Reborn from the Rubble."

Chinese-born, London-based designer Feng Chen Wang is once again deconstructing Converse’s signature chuck 70 sneakers for their latest collaboration.

Coming almost exactly year after the two last joined forces, the two brands are bringing back their 2-in-1 Chuck which sees parts of the sneaker layered on top of each other. Adding parts of the sole unit and upper to an already existing sneaker, the final result includes an elevated midsole that is detached at the side and back to expose the original sneaker it is covering.

For this latest release, the theme is titled “Reborn from the Rubble” and see the canvas upper re-interpreted with a concrete-like texture. With one colourway also resembling the colour of concrete, the other comes in pink with the additional back panels layered over in white.

Releasing on October 8 via Converse.com, check out the sneaker below.
