Not your regular tote.
Having released two PVC tote bags previously, Gucci and COMME des GARÇONS are back to once again create an elevated version of the humble tote bag.
Combining the Italian luxury house’s signature green and red stripe motif with CDG’s logo, the black bag features a reflective PVC material all over.
Having created a collaborative collection together with Balenciaga earlier this year, this bag once again present’s Gucci and creative director Alessandro Michele’s recognition of the power of uniting with others to get people talking. Previous collaborations by the brand have ranged from Hot Wheels to Crocs.
According to a statement by Gucci, the release of the tote bag closes, “the circle of this experimental process,” alluding to this being the final time they work together with Rei Kawakubo’s label for now.
Check out the tote bag below, which is releasing on October 15 via Dover Street Market’s website, physical locations, COMME des GARÇONS stores, and the Gucci’s Vault website.
