adidas are continuing their legacy in the skateboarding world as they unveil the first colourway of the Superstar ADV with their recent addition to the Pro skateboarding team, Kader Sylla.
Being one of the most popular and influential figures in the global skateboarding community, the 19-year old has given his iteration of the Superstar ADV sneaker and had this to say about his collaboration with the sportswear giant:
“I’m so excited and thankful to join the adidas Skateboarding team. It’s surreal to have the opportunity to travel the world with all of my friends and skate alongside people I look up to. It inspires me to be the best skateboarder I can be.”
Kader’s debut sneaker comes in an all-black colourway alongside minimal gold detailing on the tongue and upper, with one gold feature seeing ‘KADER’ written subtly along the upper. The shoe is composed mainly of tumble leather, with the central standout of the shoe coming in its use of pony hair for the famous three stripes, as well as a moustache placed on the heel. Thick laces overlay the tongue of the shoe to create that soft barrier for added comfortability when skating.
