Arsenal and adidas’ long run of apparel collaborations isn’t slowing down as they look to Stella McCartney for this ten-piece collection, which is set to be available next week.
Looking to combine performance and sustainability, the collection is predominantly made for women as the campaign revolves around the high-flying Arsenal Women’s Team, with the range including two full zip hoodies, a two-piece co-ord tracksuit, patterned tights, as well as a special-edition colourway of the Stella McCartney x adidas Ultraboost 22. The listed colour palettes of the collection see “Mystery Blue” and “Scarlet Red” dominate the range, with these being utilised alongside a garish leopard print pattern.
Despite the collection looking mostly to a female audience, the range also includes a gender-neutral pre-match jersey that will be available to purchase along with the rest of the ten-piece range. This unisex jersey is set to be worn pre-match by both the male and female teams in the coming weeks. In a statement about the collection, Stella McCartney stated:
“We’re so excited to continue our journey into the world of football by creating our first travel wear collection for a for a team. […] We hope this collection inspires both current and the future generations of athletes as they make their mark on and off the pitch.”
