Nike love St. Patricks Day.
Approaching St. Patrick’s Day is always a special time of year for sneakerheads, with Nike always looking to release a new variant of sneaker around the Irish day of celebration. This time around, Nike has officially announced that the Nike SB Dunk Low will be getting the green treatment.
The classic skateboarder’s essential is being given an all-over green makeover, with a rich suede covering the entirety of the upper part of the shoe. A white midsole contrasts a golden yellow outsole, very much playing on the Irish pots of gold narrative, with a gold shiny Nike tick giving the shoe a not so subtle standout feature. The golden details continue with the shoe’s tongue and heel tab including the classic Nike insignia in similarly dazzling gold, with the sole of the shoe keeping in theme with the green and gold colour scheme. A distinct detail is the embroidered white four-leaf clover just below the golden Nike tick, keeping in line with the subtle nods to the luck of the Irish.
